  • August 2026 | Once A Goddess | Always A Goddess

    A Note from Renita

    Hello Goddesses,

One of the things I love most about this community is that we don't just learn from textbooks, CEUs, or seasoned experts.

    We learn from one another.

This month, we'll celebrate Quineshia Evans, LMSW, as she concludes her supervision journey by sharing her expertise in Navigating Social Work's Ethical Principles in a School Setting. We'll congratulate Jessica Ott, LICSW, as she returns to share her journey to clinical licensure and her experience with the ASWB Clinical Exam. We'll also welcome Dr. Mary Sewell, DSW,  to our community as she reflects on earning her doctorate and shares her experience in the University of Kentucky's Doctor of Social Work program.

Finally, Kendra and I are excited to invite you to our upcoming dementia care CEU featuring the Artistic Pathways to Clarity Journal, which was recently recognized with the Innovation in Community Care Award at this year's Alter Dementia Summit.

All current Goddesses, alumni, and members of the social work community are welcome to attend all events.

The other thing I love most about this community is that we don't just learn from one another ~ we care for one another.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Brittni B. during her recovery. Whether you donated a meal, sent a gift card, offered a prayer, or simply reached out, your generosity has been a beautiful reflection of the spirit of this community.

If you'd still like to support Brittni during her recovery, the meal train remains open.
