Happy December, Goddesses,
With the national conversation shifting around what counts as a professional degree, I’ve been reminded of something simple and powerful: our stories matter. They are part of the legacy of this profession, and preserving them feels essential.
And in a moment when the worth of our work is being questioned, I keep coming back to this truth: nothing can take away the skill, the wisdom, or the heart we bring to this calling.
So as we step into December, may we hold one another a little closer, speak our stories a little louder, and remember that the value of our work has always come from the Goddesses who do it.
Community Spotlight: Celebrating 100 Episodes of the Goddesses of Social Work Podcast
This November, our community crossed a milestone that felt both magical and deeply earned:
100 episodes.2 years.One lineage.
What makes this celebration powerful is that this podcast was created for you ~ for the Goddesses whose voices often go unheard. Before it was ever meant to highlight anyone else, it was meant to preserve our stories, our wisdom, our work. The Goddesses.
And as we step into the next 100 episodes, I want you to know:
If you are a current or alumni Goddess, your voice belongs on the podcast. If you feel called to share your story, reply to this email. I would love to have you on for a 2026 episode.
