Happy November, Goddesses,
This morning, I sat on my balcony with the sun on my face and my eyes closed.
Without vision, my hearing sharpened – birds, wind, the quiet murmur of life all around me.
I realized you can close your eyes, but can’t close your ears.
Maybe that’s the invitation to us for this moment, to stop straining to see and start listening to what’s already speaking.
As we move through November, may we listen deeply – to one another, to the work calling us forward, and to the wisdom that already lives within us.
Community Spotlight: Remember Me Event Recap
Last month, many of you showed up and showed out at the Remember Me documentary screening and community gathering. It was a day overflowing with wisdom, collaboration, and compassion. A living example of what it means to be a Goddess of Social Work.
Alisihia and Jessica Parker both shared their brilliance on the Social Work Masterclass Panel Discussion, offering powerful reflections on the resources and reach of our profession.
Sangine led an entire breakout session titled Navigating the Physical and Mental Health Needs of Patients and Caregivers. Her presentation was funny and engaging, and so Sangine. It was amazing. She’s already agreed to return to our supervision circle and offer this session as a CEU in the coming months.
To everyone who participated, supported, and represented our collective, like LaTasha, thank you. I see you. You represented the Goddesses of Social Work community beautifully. And for that I am eternally grateful.
For Current Goddesses: Your November supervision calendar is attached. Please continue to send me the dates you’d like to attend, just as you’ve been doing. Alumni will receive special registration links, but for you, the process remains the same.

From the Podcast
This month, we’re celebrating a major milestone, the 100th episode of the Goddesses of Social Work Podcast!
It feels so synchronistic that this milestone episode features guest Ta’lor Pinkston, LSW – The Heart Advocate. It is so perfect that our 100th episode is in conversation with the Goddess of Love herself.
Episode 100: The Heart Advocate: Love, Boundaries, and Becoming Releases Wednesday, November 26th
Be sure to tune in and celebrate with us as we honor 100 episodes of love, leadership, and legacy.
