Happy 1st Day of April, and Happy Full Moon in Libra.
And dare I say… Happy April Fool’s Day.
I have been sitting with that energy since last night, reimagining what it could mean. In Tarot, The Fool represents a new beginning, a new journey, a new start. And maybe it is not about being foolish, but about being playful… staying curious… and learning what to release and what to carry with you.
This Full Moon in Libra sits on the Aries/Libra axis, and it feels so fitting that it arrives on the first day of April, on what we call “Fool’s Day.”
Because some would call The Fool foolish for stepping beyond the comfort of what is known, some would call him foolish for not carrying everything with him, for not packing eight bags just to make sure he has what he needs for the journey ahead. Erykah Badu's Bag Lady is playing in my head.
But Aries is the “I Am.” That is where the Sun is right now, asking: Who are you? How do you stand in your sovereignty in this world… without all the baggage?
And tonight’s Full Moon in Libra, the sign of relationships, asks:
What are you ready to release from your relationships… so that you can begin your own Fool’s journey?
