Therapy works because of the relationship between the therapist and client. When the relationship clicks, progress is possible on a wide variety of issues.
As a therapist, I use an eclectic approach and view therapy as a structured encounter for caring. You are the expert in your own life. I welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and to provide you the freedom to be fully heard, to be seen. Most importantly, during our time together, my work is to help you find the answers that you already have inside of you.
What Happens in Therapy?
Each session either through Zoom or a phone call, follows your needs. Talking is the primary vehicle for this kind of therapy. In addition, according to your interest we may work with dreams, imagery, art, music, psychodrama, astrology, tarot, and myth. The point is that what we do is tailored to you and your needs. Also, to integrate and extend our work together, I frequently invite clients to participate in practices such as journaling and other meditative techniques in between sessions.
